Kobi Amiel: One, Two! – May 2021

Originally the exhibition was suppose to include parts of an installation presented in my graduation project from art school witch was created during the covid 19 pandemic and was aimed into a more “inclusive” perspectives and references. When the opportunity to exhibit at the “kupferman museum” unfolded I found myself working towards more exclusive manner and the subject of the work went to the territories of a journey outside. Wandering about and the anxieties and possibilities of the things that can go wrong: for example the flat tent stretched on the wall that suggests a map and s.o.s signs, the boots in the center of the installation filled until the top in rubble. A barbecue grill turns into a trap, and a travelling trolley becomes a sound box popping out from a 3 meter tall shower head and so on.
